It happened near the intersection of North Point Boulevard and Charlesmont Road in Dundalk around 10:30 p.m., according to the BCPD.
Boley Terry Trent IV, 41, was attempting to cross North Point Boulevard when he was struck by a 2020 Toyota Corolla heading southbound.
Trent was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.
The driver stayed at the scene before being taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The investigation is being led by Baltimore County Crash Team detectives.
